Puppy Kindergarten I and II

Puppy Kindergarten I for any puppy up to 18 weeks old

Puppy Kindergarten II for graduates of Puppy Kindergarten I

Focus of these classes:

Guide you and your puppy through this critical social period
Safe exposure to novelty, strangers and body handling
Help your puppy gain the confidence they will need as adults

Classes progress in a stepwise fashion. To join Beginner skills, you must have completed Puppy Kindergarten I and II. If you are not a current client of ours, please contact us first to see where you dog best fits.

Specialty classes are a fun and interesting way to have fun with your dog!

🐾 Drop in sessions - Don’t have time to dedicate to a weekly class?

Only attend the classes you want or need. For 5 weeks during this session, we learn a different behavior each week, such as loose leash walking, stay, leave it, watch me, touch, anti jump, etc... Pay for only the class(es) you attend. Check our website for details.

🐾 Boredom Busters Tricks class. Have fun learning tricks like Peek-a-Boo, Spin, Twirl, Army Crawl and others.

🐾 Available Now Holiday Helpers: Essential Skills for Guest-Ready Dogs

Get your dog prepared for holiday visitors with these focused mini-class! We’ll teach just two important safety cues that are especially useful during the holidays when new decorations, snacks, and gifts appear within reach. We also have a session where we provide management tips and tricks that make a big difference when you have a house full of people:

1. “Drop it”
Teaches your dog to release whatever is in their mouth—whether it’s a toy, a shoe, or something they shouldn’t have—on cue.

2. “Leave it”
Teaches your dog to ignore something they want—food, objects on the ground, or anything tempting—and redirect their attention back to you.

3. Management - tips and tricks
Learn how to set up in-home enrichment zones to keep your dog busy and satisfied without constant supervision—perfect for when you’re hosting.

These are 30 minute focused classes offered multiple times throughout the month. You can sign up for all 3 classes or just the ones you want.
